This bike was purchased to satisfy a bucket list item, break a true 200mph top speed. Achieved on first attempt with a 170lb rider: 200.5 mph at the Mohave Magnum at the Mohave Spaceport in CA. Only raced this one time. Achieved by: full Muzzi exhaust (40 lb savings), remove center stand, passenger seat/grab bar (included), lowered 3", Piper Cross race filter (included); to meet safety standards, key fasteners are safety wired and a "deadman" safety switch installed. Dyno tuned using a Dynojet Power Commander, 188 rwhp (documentation included). Slightly taller rear tire fitted (190/55/17) for higher top end. Recent oil/coolant changes (<1000 miles). AGM battery.
Included with the sale are some added pieces for achieving greater velocity at speed trials: NIB shorter throttle body tubes to move peak HP higher in the range and a NIB 40 tooth lighter rear sprocket and super duty chain to further raise the final gear ratio (numerically lower). The bike has never been crashed but it has scratches from a garage tip over. However, it comes with a complete new set of aftermarket fairings, the OEM rear seat (perfect) and grab bar, reusable Piper Cross street and race filters and NIB Galfer braided brake lines (front and rear). Also included are front (Pit Bull) and rear stands for service/maintenance. There is also a small jack for lifting the rear swingarm for chain maintenance or flats on the road. Will include safety wiring pliers and wire. The rear pod covering replacing the passenger seat has a commercial modification to contain a toolkit.
