nothing wrong with that.(other than its not a Peterbilt haha) I do the same thign for my old man when im slow i jsut steal his truck and run some loads for him i cant sit still gota be doin something. And there nothing better then drivin a semi everyone gets outa your way. But the way they build them now is jsut junk was goin buy my dads truck and go trucking but the market sucks as bad as the new trucks

IF YA THINK THE NEW TRUCKS SUCK , DRIVE MY OLD GMC BRIG 30 YRS OLD & WILL MAKE YA WORK FOR YOUR MONEY. :lol: WORK IS SO SLOW FOR US DUMPS THE TRUCK HASN'T MOVED IN A MONTH. I AM GLAD ITS NOT THE ONLY THING I DO. I AM A BUILDING OPS MANAGER & DO FLEET MAINTENANCE AT NIGHT.

i would drive that befor i would want one of these new emssion trucks. Less power and sucks more fuel. a few weeks ago i had a guy order a spark plug for his cat. thats just not right

One commonality everyone says is our economy SUCKS. My dealer sales are down.... less money... etc. I figure I can leech off of the Obama system if I starve.... NOT.

Hey Scoot, I'll starve before begging from that communist SOB.........


I wear a whole bunch of hats and all at the same time it seems :shock:
My main bread and butter is plastic headlight lens restoration in the Treasure Valley(Boise) area of Idaho. 2 years ago I was servicing over 200 used car lots averaging 20 -30 cars a day, I'm now down to 8 lots plus any retail I can scare up. Been in business for 5 years and have restored over 10,000 headlight lenses so far, most of them in the first 3 years.

My other hats are steel fabbing, powder coating, some race/street car construction and anything to put food on the table. I've been self employed for over 30 years as I find it almost impossible to work for any one else but me

Right now I am a sheet metal mechanic on the blackhawks supporting the U.S. Army ouit here in good ol Iraq. I work nights and I love it. It's much cooler and dont have to put up with the bull that the day crew duz. After I get outta here I am planning on opening my own business building hot rods and auto body paint, also mechanic. And I also help run a horse ranch with my wife.

I want to add some good ol fashioned hope now. In the last week, I am selling like the old days... I was getting worried. Now, people are getting out bows/ guns getting ready for hunting season... it is just late this year. Don't know how this season will be, but people are going balls out right now. Seems like I worry about this every year & then it just kicks in... God always provides.
