Having just gone through a fresh Italian restoration and import process, this 1973 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 is ready for the twisties!
The current seller purchased this Canadian-market Alfa Romeo from his home country of Italy. While it was over in Italy, the seller followed the whole 5-year restoration process, totaling over $60,000, not including the purchase price of the car! Receipts will go with the car to the new owner.
Starting with the exterior, the whole car was stripped down and checked completely for rust. It was then repainted in the beautiful Red that it now wears. Mille Miglia wheels are wrapped by Pirelli P600 radials.
Open the bonnet and show off the heart of the 2000GTV. The 2.0L engine on this '73 has been reviewed, tuned up, and maintained by an authorized Alfa Romeo mechanic. The Alfa Romeo 2000 GT Veloce had the engine displacement increased to 1962 cc with a change of the bore and stroke to 84 mm × 88.5 mm. The engine produced 132 PS (130 hp) at 5500 rpm with the SPICA fuel injection, which, once again, was only fitted to cars destined for the United States and Canadian markets. A new steering gearbox and new brake clamps and pads have also been installed.
The only thing this Alfa Romeo is missing is a new name on the title!
